Expedition Blue Planet: Mississippi River Day 8

by Alexandra Cousteau, Washington, D.C. / May 1

In late February, Alexandra Cousteau and her crew embarked on a 100-day around-the-world expedition aimed at demonstrating the interconnectivity of our planet’s water to our daily lives. Called Expedition: Blue Planet, the crew will shine a spotlight on the individual stories they encounter over the course of their trip, and show how they are part of the larger, universal story of an interdependent, global water ecosystem.

Here is a story from their recent experiences along the Jordan River. For more blogs from the trip, check out the Expedition’s web site. Enjoy
